Christen A. Ansuini, Esq.
Christen Ansuini is a dedicated family law attorney who guides clients through a wide range of domestic relations matters with skill, empathy, and a solutions-focused mindset. Her knowledge and creativity enable her to successfully resolve disputes under the most difficult and stressful conditions.
Christen’s practice involves assisting clients with a full range of family law issues, including:
- Paternity and legitimation;
- Uncontested and contested actions for divorce;
- Child custody and child support;
- Mediation;
- Grandparent rights;
- Contempt and judgment enforcement;
- Modification actions;
- Prenuptial agreements;
- Temporary protective orders; and
- QDRO preparation.
Christen is especially attuned to the needs of children in high-conflict divorce and custody disputes. As a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem, she possesses the objectivity and insight necessary to identify custody solutions in which the best interests of the child are paramount.
Christen earned her J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Board and was elected Class President. She earned a Master of Education, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Psychology, summa cum laude, from the University of Maryland.
As a strong advocate for community engagement, Christen volunteers her time and expertise to organizations such as the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Georgia Lawyers for the Arts and Forgotten Paws Pet Rescue. Additionally, Christen serves on the Executive Board of the Atlanta Chapter of the University of Maryland Alumni Association.
There is nothing Christen enjoys more than spending time with her loved ones and rescue pups. She looks for opportunities to write, dance, practice yoga, and be outside. During the winter, Christen conducts “relationship research” by viewing Hallmark holiday movies. She hopes to represent a Christmas tree farmer or secret royal in court one day.
