William A. Alexander, Esq.
Since his admission to the bar, William has successfully represented clients in a wide range of family law matters, including those involving:
- Divorce, alimony, separation, and annulment;
- Child custody and child support;
- Contempt and judgment enforcement;
- Paternity and legitimation;
- Modification of existing orders;
- Prenuptial agreements;
- Mediation and arbitration;
- Appeals;
- Collaborative law;
- Property division; and
- Third-party custody.
William also serves as a Guardian ad litem, certified by the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, and is a Member-at-Large on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of Georgia Family Law Section. He has been admitted into the Georgia State Bar, the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Northern District of Georgia.
A second-generation family law attorney, William is an Atlanta native and graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia in 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. He continued his education at the Georgia State University College of Law, earning his law degree in 2012. While still in law school, William served as President of the Executive Board of the GSU College of Law’s moot court.
In addition to being named a Legal Elite by Georgia Trend Magazine in 2017 and 2019, William was selected for inclusion as a Rising Star Georgia Super Lawyer every year since 2020.
William and his family live in Cobb County, and are actively involved in their community.
